What is IPTV Smarters Pro?
IPTV Smarters Pro is one of the most popular apps for watching IPTV. It works like a TV remote and channel guide in one: you give it the login details from your IPTV provider, and it shows your live channels, movies and series in one clean menu.
It is only the player. It does not sell subscriptions and does not include any content, so it will be empty until you add a provider’s login. If you have an IPTV USA plan, you receive an Xtream Codes login and an M3U link by email after payment, and either one works in the app.

How to set up IPTV Smarters Pro with Xtream Codes
This is the recommended method and takes five steps.
Install IPTV Smarters Pro
Download the app from the official store for your device: Google Play on Android phones, tablets and Android TV, or the App Store on iPhone and iPad. Only install the official app, because look-alike copies exist.
Open the app and choose Xtream Codes
On the start screen, choose Login with Xtream Codes API (some versions call it Add User). This is the recommended method because it loads faster and organizes channels, movies and series for you.
Enter your login details
Fill in the four fields: Any Name (for example IPTV USA), Username, Password and URL. The URL is the server address from your provider, including
http://and the port number if one is given. Copy the details exactly, with no spaces.Add the user and wait for the load
Press Add User. The app now downloads your channel list, movies and series. The first load can take a minute or two, so wait until the screen changes.
Pick Live TV, Movies or Series
Choose a category on the home screen, then select a channel or title to start watching. Your TV guide (EPG) loads automatically with Xtream Codes.
How to add an M3U playlist in IPTV Smarters Pro
Use this method only if you do not have Xtream Codes details.
Choose the playlist option
On the start screen, choose Load Your Playlist or File/URL.
Paste your M3U link
Enter any playlist name, select the URL option and paste the full M3U link from your provider. Make sure no spaces or line breaks are copied with it.
Add the playlist and wait
Press Add and wait while the app reads the playlist. An M3U link is one large file, so it usually loads slower than Xtream Codes.

“Login failed” or “invalid username or password”
Re-type the username and password by hand instead of pasting, check for a trailing space, and make sure the URL starts with
http://and includes the port. Also check that your subscription is active.Channels do not load or the list is empty
Wait two minutes on the first load, then close and reopen the app. Check your internet connection and that your device date and time are set to automatic.
Buffering or freezing
Buffering is usually your connection, not the app. Restart your router, use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and lower the quality. You need about 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K per stream. In the app’s Settings, open the player settings and try switching between hardware and software decoding, as one usually plays smoother on older devices. If only one channel buffers, the problem is that stream, not your setup.
Works on one device but not a second
Each subscription allows a set number of connections. If another device is already streaming, the extra one is refused. Stop the other stream or ask your provider for a multi-connection plan.
TV guide (EPG) is empty
With Xtream Codes the guide loads by itself, so wait a few minutes after login. With an M3U link the guide often needs its own EPG URL from your provider. If the guide is still empty, open Settings, refresh or reload the EPG, check that your device time zone is correct, then restart the app.
Stay safe: install only the official app
Many look-alike apps use the same name. Install only from the official store listing, never enter your IPTV login into a website you reached by a random link, and never share your username and password. If you are unsure, ask our support team before installing anything.
